Rumors that Maya Angelou is dead

Online twitters across the nations reported the apparent death of Dr. Maya Angelou. She was reported to have been rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles last Saturday evening prior to her engagement to attend the Braveheart awards.

For those who do not know her, she was a famous poet and Pulitzer nominated author. Her best known work is her published autobiography, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, that tells the story of her first seventeen years of life. It brought her international recognition, and was nominated for a National Book Award.

She was also famous because of her quotable quotes:

"All great achievements require time"
 "Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean."
